Off-Grid Solar, your questions
What is the difference between off-grid and NEM?
A NEM system stays connected to Sarawak Energy, exports daytime power and qualifies for the subsidy, but cannot include batteries. An off-grid system runs on its own panels and batteries, so it does not qualify for the NEM subsidy.
What can an off-grid system run?
That depends on the size of the solar array, battery and inverter. We start from the appliances you want to run and how many hours, then size the system to match.
Is off-grid suitable for my site?
It suits remote homes, farms, cabins and sites where a grid connection is not available or not practical. Send us your location and load on WhatsApp and we will advise honestly.
